What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn MoreCohen has always loved nature but mostly the wide variety of animals that live in nature. We have traveled to many places and each time he will research what animals live in that particular area before we go. He will make a list of all the types of animals he wants to find and he will learn all about them. When he had the opportunity to go on a trip recently with his Dad, he picked Maine just because he wanted to explore the tide pools for sea life. He's a wealth of knowledge at a young age.
He loves non-venomous snakes. He likes water snakes and garter snakes. He likes them because they are non-venomous and he can catch them. He really likes a Ribbon Snake because they are really skinny and so cute.
He loves to go exploring in a creek for crawdads or looking through tide pools for sea stars and crabs. He likes to look for crabs on the beach and in the garden he looks for garter snakes.
