If she sees plastic or trash left on the ground she gets joy in picking it up and being an important part of keeping our oceans and land clean. Sometimes she says "Wait mom! I have to go pick up that plastic bag. I could be saving a sea turtle."
Charlie has many favorites, but currently she is very interested in the rhinos and the differences between black and white rhinos. She just finished a 2nd grade report on that animal! She also loves echidnas! She has been learning some new interesting facts about them!
Charlie's favorite outdoor activity is horseback riding through our local trails in Rancho Cucamonga, California! She sometimes likes to hop off of her horse to check out different bugs she sees on the trail. This is her favorite activity because it involves being outside and connecting with animals, her two favorite things. Horseback riding has helped Charlie gain confidence and independence. She takes pride in caring for the horse she rides at her lesson.
