Learn More“All the beautiful things like flowers and animals.” Caleb was born in January of 2020, and was 8 weeks old when the pandemic started. That year, to make lemonade out of lemons, our family camped more than ever before—so Caleb spent almost 20 nights sleeping under the stars before he was 1 year old. Ever since then, he has loved the outdoors. He's the kid that stops what he's doing to notice the view, or smell the flowers, or watch a cool bug.
“Cheetahs because they run fast. Foxes because they have two colors. And also hippos because they mark their territory by pooping.” Caleb loves animals, and collects facts about all of them, so it's hard for him to pick just one favorite! I think the answer to this question might change depending on when you ask him, and what he's reading at the time. He brings home a different library book about animals every month, and his favorite is the "Who Would Win" series. Caleb also loves to play vet!
“Exploring because you can see cool things.” We're lucky to call Colorado home, and spend our time hiking, camping, biking, skiing, and exploring the Rocky Mountains. And, with a family camp in upstate New York, we've also enjoyed fishing, canoeing, and catching toads and fireflies.
