Birds are his favorite animal and he enjoys listening for their chirps and looking for them in the trees, along with other animals who live in and around the trees and under rocks! Brentley also enjoys identifying different plants in nature and learning which ones are safe and which are toxic. He truly loves the adventure of discovering what he can find and learn about on every outing. There’s always something new to discover and explore.
Brentley loves birds, but he really loves macaws! He has always had an interest in parrots, he is drawn to their beautiful bright colors, different sizes and the way they each seem to have their own unique personalities. Brentley has closely followed the repopulation of the Spix’s macaw and enjoys learning about conservation efforts to protect them. It is his hope to see macaws, especially the Spix’s macaw, in their natural habitat someday.
We love to camp as a family and explore all that nature has to offer. He especially enjoys hiking in national parks across the United States. His favorite so far has been Saguaro National Park, where he loved seeing all the birds that built nests in the cacti. Anytime he gets the chance to explore, he’s doing what he loves.
