I love the surprises I find in nature. Every day is a new adventure, sometimes spotting sneaky animals, sometimes slipping in mud. Nature has always been in my heart. It is where I feel closest to my family and make the best memories. I love hiking, biking, splashing in lakes, and climbing big mountains while seeing nature. I learn about ecosystems and caring for the land. I will never stop exploring as long as I live.
My favorite animal is an elk. I like how big and sneaky they are. It’s cool how they shed their antlers and I can find them. It’s fun to call back and forth with them when they are rutting.
My favorite outdoor activity is backpack camping in the mountains. I love the hard work it takes to carry all my gear on my back up the mountain. It’s also fun to fish and swim with my family away from the crowds. I find I’m at peace when I’m camping away from it all.
