Receive Text UpdatesAs I reflected on Brantley’s relationship w/ nature, I realized how innate it was. He feels natural, playful, & carefree when he’s outside. Brantley finds excitement in simple things. He loves collecting rocks & seashells, fascinated by their differences. He loves seeing animals in their natural habit—from ants to squirrels to fish or dolphins & more. Children have a unique perspective on what’s “cool” or exciting. Even if he’s shown me 20 shells in a row, I can’t wait to see which one is next.
Brantley loves all animals & is fascinated by their differences. Where they live, eating habits, sleep patterns, etc. He loves learning new facts & even teaches me, such as flamingos obtain their pink hue from the food they eat. I loved learning that fact as an adult from my kiddo. But his favorite animal is likely his pet cat Randal. He is always writing stories & drawing pics of Randal, saying how cute, fuzzy, & cuddly he is. B follows him around everywhere, which I am sure Randal loves too.
Brantley has so much energy, needing a daily dose fresh air & running around. He enjoys playing sports, skiing, biking, etc. After he learned to ride a 2-wheeler & got a new bike for xmas, all he wanted to do was ride. To the point that snow on the driveway became a source of frustration. But ultimately, Brantley’s favorite place is the water. He would spend all day swimming if he could, & trying to get B out of the water before he grows a tail, fins, & gills often takes the effort of 3 adults.
