Learn MoreWhat Blake loves most about nature is that it never seems to end—there are always more animals and places to discover. She loves seeing how different nature looks around the world. In Costa Rica she explored the rainforest and spotted sloths, toucans, snakes, and even a tarantula. In Alaska she watched humpback whales, orcas, and sea otters swimming near icebergs. Blake thinks it’s amazing how animals can live in so many different places.
Blake’s favorite animal is the Komodo dragon—because it’s basically a real-life dragon! She loves that baby Komodos can change color in the water and that they live on islands near Australia. Blake has seen one before, but never moving in the wild. She thinks their slow-acting venom is fascinating and loves that they have “dragon” in their name. She wouldn’t want one as a pet—but she would LOVE to see one in its natural habitat on a real adventure!
Blake’s favorite outdoor adventures are swimming and riding her ATV. In the water she flips, dives, and practices holding her breath as long as she can. On her ATV she zooms through the grass exploring the neighborhood. Blake loves that every ride feels like a new adventure—because you never know what cool things or tiny treasures you might discover along the way.
