My son prefers to be exploring/appreciating nature around him. Yesterday he said “The birds are singing and I love the sounds of nature.”

Learn MoreWhen asked what Bennett loves most about nature he said “flowers, singing birds, lizards, and looking for new animals”. He also enjoys planting seeds from any fruit or vegetable I may have to make his own garden. Recently, he has really enjoyed hiking through the desert hills by our house and hiking in the forest where his grandparents live. Lastly, he enjoys catching lady bugs at the “lady bug park” down the street from our house and releasing them into areas he thinks are safer for them.
Bennett’s favorite animals is a flamingo. He said his reasons are that they can stand on one foot, they can go in water, and because I love their colors and them.
Bennett’s favorite outdoor activity is anything to do with water. Whether it is swimming in a pool or taking the boat out to the lake he thrives. At the lake he enjoys inner tubing, fishing, feeding the ducks, looking for bald eagles, seeing the donkeys, and swimming.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
