Beatrice loves how calming nature can be. She feels at peace in playing down at the creek for hours, catching crawfish, discovering new insects and exploring her surroundings. Beatrice feels connected to nature through her play and exploration.
“This is a tough question bc I have so many favorites. There’s the Paragon Falcon, Proboscis Monkey, Liturgusa Kattorum, Diademed Sifaka, but I guess my favorite wildlife animal would have to be the Resplendent Quetzal, I love their metallic colors+majestic tails. It’s cool how they eat wild avocados whole and spit out the pit and It replants naturally. I hate to think they’re nearly threatened. I would love to teach people about them to conserve this amazing bird+ it’s habitat.”
Beatrice loves all things outdoors! Whether she is out milking our goats, tending to her farm chores, jumping her minidonkey, Jameson, hiking through the forest, or biking, she is most alive outside. One of her biggest passions is fishing. She will fish for HOURS. She has tied her own lures, baited her own hooks, and has taken fish off the hook since she was 5. She loves learning the art of casting, baiting, and of course catching a variety of fish!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
