Learn MoreI love being outside because I can be wild! I climb trees and swing on vines. I splash in the river and jump in mud. Mom and I find bugs, worms, snails, and lizards. Sometimes I watch snakes but I'm not allowed to touch them without an adult. I feel so happy and free outside. I wish I could play outside all day and camp every night.
My favorite animal is the Komodo dragon because they are the coolest! They use germs in their mouths to catch food. They can swim really far, like me, and sometimes even swim to other islands to hunt. They are the biggest lizards in the world. This part is gross—they sometimes eat their own babies. People used to think they were man-eaters. I like seeing one at the zoo, but I really want to see one in its real home!
My favorite thing to do outside is find sticks that look like swords. I have big battles. Especially with my dad. Make believe is always better in the woods. I also like to play in the river and swing from vines. We always search for animals while we're outside. I really love to fish but feel bad for the worms. Those guys are so cute!
