What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn MoreAyden loves caring for wildlife and helping nature thrive. He rescues animals, teaches his classmates about protecting the environment, and raises monarch butterflies. After caring for them, he releases them into nature—he has helped more than 500 butterflies fly free!
Ayden loves his bearded dragon because it looks like a tiny dragon and has a very interesting personality. He enjoys watching it wave its arm, bob its head, and chase insects during feeding time. Taking care of the bearded dragon teaches him responsibility and helps him learn more about reptiles and nature. Since Ayden already loves helping animals and protecting wildlife, caring for his bearded dragon makes him feel connected to the natural world.
Ayden’s favorite outdoor activity is exploring nature and discovering new animals. He loves walking outside and looking carefully to find insects, birds, and other wildlife. Ayden also enjoys listening to birds singing in the trees and learning about the different sounds they make. When he is outside, he likes to help nature by cleaning up litter and making the environment safer for animals. Exploring, protecting wildlife, and caring for the Earth makes being outdoors very special for him
