I study nature like a young field biologist. I notice patterns, discover hidden life, & care for the smallest creatures. Everything matters.

Receive Text UpdatesI love that nature feels alive. The more I slow down and look closely, the more I realize there’s so much happening all around me. I like to wander and learn, noticing things others might miss and then showing them. I follow my curiosity and love finding tiny bugs, animal tracks, things hiding under leaves, and even patterns in nature. It makes me feel happy and reminds me that even the smallest things matter. It’s why I want to grow into an environmental steward.
The red-tailed hawk is my favorite animal because I love watching how it moves. It circles high in the sky and looks at everything before it does anything. It doesn’t rush. It waits for the right moment. That’s how I try to be in jiu-jitsu and when I play violin. When I watch a hawk, it helps me slow down and notice more. It reminds me to be calm and move with purpose. It’s my favorite animal and it’s how I want to be…and see!
Whether I’m on my skateboard looking for things others miss, riding my bike in our neighborhood, or hiking hidden trails in Southern California, I love to wander, explore, and observe… and just find nature’s treasures. I like finding mushrooms, spotting tiny bugs, watching and calling birds, taking photos, and nature journaling. I’m always asking, “What is this?” and “Why?” Nature feels alive to me. The more I look, the more I see. It’s my happy place, and it makes me want to take care of it.
