What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn MoreAxel loves that nature is always full of surprises. When he hikes he looks for animal tracks, insects, and plants and always asks questions about how they live. He likes that being outside feels like an adventure and that every trail shows him something new about the world. Nature makes him curious and excited to explore and learn.
Axel’s favorite animals are the ball python and the snowshoe hare. He loves ball pythons because they are calm, fascinating reptiles with beautiful patterns and amazing adaptations. He loves snowshoe hares because they change color in winter to survive in the snow. Axel thinks animals that adapt to their environment show how incredible nature is.
Axel’s favorite outdoor activity is hiking. He loves exploring trails, climbing over rocks, and spotting wildlife along the way. Hiking makes him feel like a real explorer and helps him learn about animals and nature firsthand. He especially enjoys looking for tracks and imagining what animals passed by before him. Axel hopes to be a Junior Ranger so he can learn how to protect wildlife and help take care of nature for the future.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
