Learn MoreAvery loves the outdoors because it fills her with curiosity and wonder, especially in spring when new life blooms. From butterflies to mama deer leaving babies in our yard, she is fascinated by nature and loves observing the life cycle of living things. She enjoys watching things grow and change, hiking trails, building forts, and taking walks to find little treasures.
Avery’s favorite animal is the loggerhead sea turtle. Her interest began after seeing a nest during a beach vacation and grew even more when she learned about a turtle hospital that rescues and rehabilitates them. She has a big heart and a strong desire to help animals.
Avery loves riding her bike to the park and then walking on the nature trails. She loves the feeling of the fresh air when she goes fast and loves exploring in the woods because you never know what treasure you might find. There’s always something new in nature.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
