Learn MoreAva loves to be outside. She is passionate about preserving and caring for animals. She has put up many bird houses and squirrel nesting boxes. She loves visiting national parks, and is always excited to learn more about each unique park through the jr ranger programs! We always take camping trips over summer break, Ava loves to bring her beloved dog, Julius, along for our adventures!
Ava’s favorite animal is the Hawksbill sea turtle! When we visited the coast of Texas last summer we went to a sea turtle rehabilitation center. She got to learn all about the different types of turtles there. The Hawksbill turtle is endangered and that’s why it has a special place in Ava’s heart. She really wants to help them not be endangered anymore.
Her favorite outdoor activity is riding horses. She has been riding since she was 8 and has learned to jump over rails and logs! She loves caring for animals whether it’s at the farm, in our neighborhood, at our local wildlife rehabilitation center or while camping in the wild. Ava has a big heart for preserving and protecting the Earth and its beautiful inhabitants!
