Whether it is catch and release fishing or bird watching in our local woods, he is a collector of experiences and gets most excited about witnessing a critter he has never seen before. He has a sharp eye and an incredible memory for animal facts.
Birds are Auggie’s passion. He loves ducks, chickens, geese, backyard birds and raptors. We love our local raptor rescue and try to go to as many events as we can. He recently did a school assignment on the grouse- his choice.
Auggie loves spending time with his chickens the most! He likes to explore the woods in our backyard. He also loves the lake and loves to look for fish, frogs, turtles, and water fowl. One of my favorite memories with him is witnessing an eagle dive for a fish while driving along the lake. He’s also the only person in our family to have foraged a morel mushroom and frequently collects litter on the beach.
