I didn’t know a 6 year old was capable of loving animals so much! He knows every fact, wrote his own book, and dreams of being a zoologist.
Thank you for generously supporting Audie in this year’s competition. Your participation helps empower the National Wildlife Federation in their mission to protect wildlife, restore habitats, and inspire the next generation of conservationists.
What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn MoreFrom Audie - “I love learning facts, like that a tiger can climb a tree or some anoles can be blue. I love being in nature because there’s so much amazing things you can find like Venus fly taps or chameleons. Every animal is connected, like a lion fish lives far from a polar bear, but they’re connected because there’s might be foods that the polar bear eats that eat a lion fish!”
His favorite animal is an ant because they can escape Venus fly traps. I also really like reptiles because they’re cold blooded, so if they’re sitting in ice, then their blood will be cold as ice.
“My favorite thing is to bird watch and observe what they do, like eat a worm. My favorite one to observe is probably a dark-eyed junko. They’re a cute bird. I also like looking for gems and rare rocks or animal bones.”
