What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn MoreNature is where we’ve noticed Andi at her most curious and confident. She charges up mountains, climbs any boulder she can, hunts for critters big and small, and manages our campsite like she’s been doing it her whole life (which she has, in fairness). It’s where she can see her bedtime stories come to life. Where she experiences that sense of awe that we hope she never loses.
We just asked her, and she said unicorn, horse, and zebra in order. Why? She doesn’t know, she just likes them.
Sharing the outdoor adventures with her friends (she gave a specific example of making a slide out of a rock). Looking for flowers and snails on hikes, spotting wildlife long before we can, hiking impressively long/far for a 4-year-old, and asking an even longer set of questions that we need a guidebook to answer. It’s a joy to watch her grow up outside.
