He is fascinated by what animals and insects are capable of, how they are different, and their roles on this planet. He is delighted to have the opportunity of having hands-on experiences with different animals, plants, and all the textures of the earth. He learns best about nature by surrounding himself within it.
Anderson's favorite animal is the honey bee. He has been fascinated learning about their utility here on the planet, and sees past them being a buzzing flying pest. He knows they are the farthest thing from a pest and goes out of his way to protect them, even on a daily walk. He considers the honey bee as kind creature who is hard-working yet playful, and important to the earth's ecosystem and human survival overall. A bonus is that he loves honey, honeycombs, and flavored honey sticks!
Anderson's favorite outdoor activity is catching his own worms to use as bait for fishing. He has loved catching and playing with worms since he was a toddler. And now that he loves to fish, he catches his own worms. It teaches him that hard work pays off and you can have fun while doing it. Once, he noticed a couple fishing that ran out of worms at our local pond. He quickly started digging and collected a pile of worms for them to use. He has a big heart and nature brings out the best in him.
