What does Anden love most about nature?

Anden loves that nature is always full of surprises and new discoveries. Every time we go outside he believes we might find a new animal, track, or creature hiding in the grass, trees, or under a rock. He likes listening to the trees move in the summer wind and searching the ground for cool rocks to collect. He loves watching how animals live and survive, whether it’s frogs in the summer, tracks in the snow during winter, or watching his cat Rummy hunt. For Anden, nature is one big adventure.

What is Anden's favorite animal—and why?

An alligator, because its mouth is so wide and it can snap so fast. They can even jump high out of the water to catch their supper. Anden thinks they are fascinating and surprisingly “cuddly.” When we visited the zoo, he asked if he could go in and pet them. He loves learning about how powerful they are and how they survive in the wild, and he is always excited whenever he sees one.

What is Anden's favorite outdoor activity?

Anden’s favorite outdoor activity is going on adventures in the woods with Mom and Dad. He loves exploring trails and seeing what animals he can find in the grass, trees, or sky. In the winter he likes finding tracks and rabbit burrows, and in the summer he flips over every stone or hiding spot where a frog or toad might be. He also enjoys watching Rummy, his cat, hunt for prey and is always excited to see what Rummy might catch. Every trip outside becomes a wildlife adventure.
