Amelia (Emmy) has always been fascinated with wildlife and learning about traits and habitats etc. She’s not afraid to catch any critter!

What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn MoreShe loves discovering things she’s never seen before and learning about new things. She’s not afraid of anything, not even the “creepy crawlies” or “scary” animals. She has a goal of getting a pet jumping spider! She loves that there’s always something new and interesting to see.
She is obsessed with turtles! She has 3 pet turtles and spent hours (with her dad) designing and building a 4x7 habitat for them and researching exactly what they need to be happy, healthy turtles.
She loves to go fishing and kayaking. She spends most of her time exploring the shoreline and turning over rocks to see what she can find. We take an annual fishing trip to Canada where she is outside from dawn until dusk (or when the mosquitos get too bad!) fishing from shore, kayaking around the island the cabin is on, climbing trees and exploring.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
