What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn More“My favorite thing about nature is learning about ecosystems, and how different animals and plants depend on each other to survive. I love how different the outdoors is around the world. I love discovering new animals, plants, and bugs.”
“My favorite animals are giraffes because they have such long necks. I thinks it’s interesting that they are one of the hardest animals for large cats to take down, because of their size. I also think it’s really cool that no two giraffes have the same pattern, and that each one is unique. I have fed a giraffe two times!”
“I really love hiking! I love crunching rocks under my boots, and exploring the trail. I especially love when there are rivers or creeks to splash in. My favorite hike has a lake and a rock beach where me and my family skip rocks together, and dip our toes in the (very cold) water. I’m getting pretty good at rock skipping!”
