She skis, swims, bikes, hikes, and camps, finding joy in every adventure. She sees beauty in the small things, turning what she finds outdoors into treasures. She collects neighborhood kids to ride bikes because she wants every kid to feel that same sense of wonder. For Alta, nature isn’t just a place to visit, it’s where she feels most alive and most herself.
Alta has a special place in her heart for the small creatures most kids walk right past. Ladybugs, butterflies, and tiny critters hiding in the grass all capture her attention and spark her curiosity. She may not be the first to run toward a large animal, but she is always the first to want to learn about one. Alta believes every creature has a story worth knowing. Her love for the little things reminds her that nature is full of wonder, no matter how big or small the animal may be.
Biking is Alta’s favorite outdoor activity, though choosing wasn’t easy since she’ll jump at any chance to get outside. What she loves most is cruising the neighborhood with friends, going on longer rides with her family, and especially adventuring alongside her dad. There’s something about the freedom, the movement, and the fun of it that keeps her coming back. It’s no surprise she started a community kids’ bike group, sharing that same joy with the kids around her.
