Alexander says he loves everything about nature. He loves exploring outside, turning over rocks in the creek, and seeing what animals might be hiding underneath. Nature feels like one big adventure to him. There's always something new to discover, whether it’s a tiny bug, a bird overhead, or tracks in the dirt.
Alexander’s favorite animal is the burrowing owl because they live underground in little burrows instead of trees. He thinks it’s really cool that such a tiny owl can dig and live in the ground. He loves watching videos of them and thinks they are beautiful and brave. He really admires animals and loves learning how they live in nature.
His favorite outdoor activity is searching for snakes in the creek by our house. He loves carefully lifting rocks and looking in the water for water snakes. He gets very excited when he spots one, but he always watches them respectfully and lets them go on their way because he thinks snakes are beautiful and important animals.
