Aiva has a deep enjoyment for all animals. She enjoys teaching her friends about reptiles and not to fear them.

Learn MoreAiva loves all the color changes that occur in nature. From animals to plants, change is all around us. For example, Green Tree pythons start life yellow or red & slowly turn green as adults. Living in the pacific northwest our forests go from green to shades of orange and yellow in fall. Some of our animal have a coat that changes with the season. It's a wonderful thing to see your child so excited about seeing the changes that happen in our own back yard. Each year she is learning more & more.
Aiva loves Snow Leopards for the same reasons mentioned above such as the way they adapt to their environment. Twice a year they change their coats color and gets thicker or thinner based on the season. She loves the nick name "ghost of the mountain" for being so secretive. The cubs are the cutest cat in her mind, and she just wants to hold one someday.
Aiva is a nature kid at heart. She loves looking for reptiles here in the PacNW. Whenever we go out, she is flipping rocks, jumping in creeks looking for frogs. Last year she caught and released multiple lizards, found hatched eggs, and even a few bird nests. Her curiosity to learn about nature has sparked her to leave no rock unturned and to find more cool reptiles and animals. This year we're going to try and see our first Puget Sound Garter snake. She is looking for the blue morph.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
