Receive Text UpdatesAidan loves exploring and using his imagination to take what he finds in nature and building something new. From the beach to the tundra, hes always asking questions, discovering new things, and getting a little dirty along the way.
Aidan loves all things fish. Living in Alaska, we see many species of fish and get a front row seat to many stages of their life cycle, especially salmon. We subsistence fish from the beach in the summer. Go on trips in the skiff to harvest spawned red fish in the fall, a traditional activity that Alaska Natives participate in. Aidan also loves ice fishing in winter time. Fish are his favorite because he gets up close and personal with them, they are fun to watch, tasty to eat, and are cool!
Aidans favorite activity is berry picking. This is something we do as a family, either hiking, riding a 4-wheeler, or going on a boat ride to the perfect berry picking spot. He loves picking berries because they are tasty and he loves exploring the tundra, where the plants grow, for treasures.
