He immerses himself in his senses, listening, smelling, feeling and listening as his wild child is free to explore. He sees the details in new growth to finding mushrooms in decay. As he says "there are ancient discoveries out there"
In his words his favorite animal is a "salmon". Because it can "swim in both fresh water and salt water. It can swim upstream and jump over waterfalls."
