Exploring trails, spotting animals, learning cool facts, and watching how plants and wildlife live together makes the outdoors exciting to her. Nature sparks her curiosity, from tiny insects to huge elephants, and helps her feel connected to the world. She truly feels most herself around animals and feels most interested in learning about them and how to help them. Recently she has gotten really interested in conservation.
I love African elephants because they are gentle giants with amazing memories and strong families. It is incredible how they use their trunks to drink, eat, spray water, and even comfort each other. I also love that they care for their herd. Learning about elephants makes me want to help protect them and other animals in the wild. I think elephants are one of the most fascinating animals on Earth, and I hope someday I can help take care of them and keep them safe for future generations to come.
Going to our local zoo in Little Rock, Arkansas is one of my favorite outdoor activities because I get to see so many amazing animals in one place. I love watching how they move, play, and interact with each other. It makes me feel happy to learn new facts about them and see animals I have read about in books. The zoo also teaches me why it is important to protect animals and their habitats. Every visit makes me even more excited to learn about wildlife and to help care for animals someday.
