He loves that nature is always changing. Nature can be seen from far and from close, there are no limits. He especially loves insects, all kinds - even if they bite! Every bug he finds is a new lesson he learns about the species. Every bug has a purpose, and that’s what makes it so lovely. No matter where we go in the world, there is always a new aspect of nature to discover!
He loves lizards! He has seen a few types of their species, but his favorite was a bearded dragon. The way they feel, their funny looking eyes, the way they can climb. Even though they look intimidating with their spikes, they are so soft and friendly! They also look like little ninjas when they run which is so silly and cute. They are fearless creatures who love humans, but beware - they don’t love avocados as much as we do!
Discovering bugs - He can sit outside for hours and hours just finding new ways and objects to build homes for them. He loves seeing how they work together up close - how they react when he tries feeding them or when he adds new objects in their homes. He loves watching how different bugs act together when in the same space, what kind of strategies they use to try and leave a maze he makes. Bugs are so entertaining and beautiful, he is always curious to find new bugs and give them new names.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
