Receive Text UpdatesZayne loves to hike and explore while looking for birds with his binoculars. He loves learning about animal habitats, examining scat to determine what creatures are nearby, and looking for animal tracks. He loves making connections to what is around him and soaking up all things wild.
Zayne has a special love for California Condors. He has loved them since he was 2-years-old and we’ve traveled across California to see California and Andean Condors at various zoos. He really wants to see one in the wild. He fell in love with their bald heads and after learning how near to extinction they were. He has a strong desire to help protect them.
Zayne’s favorite activity is hiking the trails near our home and looking for birds, deer, coyotes, and the occasional but rare sighting of a fox. He loves trekking through the mountains and marshes alike with his binoculars and Audubon book trying to identify various raptors or water fowl. Zayne loves anything where he is outdoors and near wild creatures!
