What does Zackery love most about nature?

Diagnosed AU, my child struggled to find a sense of belonging in society; the day his father took him off roading, that changed. From the smell of fresh air to the visible beauty of nature, my child became enchanted by the earth. From the sand in his boots to the rocks in his pockets, I find that almost everything has meaning to him, living or not. From skelletons in the desert to the dry mesquite we use for cooking, my son thanks each and every part of the environment for what it provides.

What is Zackery's favorite animal—and why?

His favorite animal is a goat. Their abilities to climb, eat, and fight, make them his favorite. What truly solidifies the idea is how cute, silly, and small of a package such a large personality comes in. He does feel it is worth noting that snakes and pigs are also really awesome "but, if I have to pick one, it would be a goat".

What is Zackery's favorite outdoor activity?

Exploring. What started out as rock and fossil collecting in the mountains and desert with his dad, has quickly evolved beyond our wildest imaginations. We are now constantly finding new tools and survival items to nuture this passion that has been created. Whether he is out on his bike, walking, or simply sitting, he is constantly looking around for things that others may not even notice, and is thrilled when someone shares his interests. Also, Zack's never alone, nature is his friend.
