What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreYenesis says her love of nature stems from watching the momma and daddy animals care for their babies and how an animal can live and eat in the wild. How animals can work hard to survive and play with their families. " I love that animals and people can sometimes be the same." Yenesis also loves the insects but you should always be careful around bugs and animals can be poisonous, "like some blue butterflies."
Yenesis's favorite animal is an Axolotl, mostly because they are "cute and cool". "They make good pets, but my mom won't let me have one because they can get hurt if you touch or care for them wrong." Yenesis also likes Giraffes and completed a school project where she needs to 'build' a zoo habitat that contains everything necessary for a giraffe to live. Her favorite fact is they will sleep standing up if there are predators but if they are in a zoo giraffes will 'lay down' to sleep.
Playing outside on the trampoline, swimming, and going on nature walks where she can spot animals like ducks, birds, and lizards. She also likes planting flowers/gardening with her grandma or at school on earth day.
