What does William love most about nature?

William loves the endless stories nature can tell; in the rocks, he finds history. In the water, we see insects that feed an ecosystem, and in the creeks that feed into the bigger picture of a watershed, life is intertwined.

What is William's favorite animal—and why?

William's favorite animal is a bald eagle. We often see bald eagles perched along the Ohio River on our drives to and from school as well as at the Cincinnati Zoo. He loves the bald eagle because he would love to be able to soar through the skies.

What is William's favorite outdoor activity?

William loves looking for fossils in our local wildlife corridor creek bed located along the Ohio River. He loves discussing what type of animal he thinks is fossilized, and he uses his magnifying glass and microscope to get an even closer look. Through fossil hunting William's imagination is able to walk back in history.
