Will loves all of the creatures he can find whether it be under a rock or up a tree. He loves to research each animal he finds and creates habitats for the local animals he catches (and releases). Will’s knowledge about animals and creatures from all over the world is impressive and his curious mind is always asking great questions that we research together.
Salamanders are the current favorite! Living in Michigan, reptiles are hard to come by. Although no one else has ever spotted a salamander in our area, Will has already found 2 dozen and it’s only May. He loves to find them hiding under rocks and study their body and figure out why they chose the spot they did. Reptiles are his favorite and the fact that he can find one in his backyard is pretty cool.
Flipping rocks. He loves to collect small insects to feed to his leopard gecko and anole lizard. He’s also always on the hunt for tree frogs and salamanders in our backyard. At the cottage it also includes frog hunting!
