Waylon loves being outside and hiking. He brings his Edible Plant Guide on our hikes so he can identify which plants are safe to eat. He has been reading up on bushcraft and trying out different projects. You can often find him outside whittling sticks into arrows and creating a bow from found objects.
Waylon's favorite animals are lizards. He has a pet Bearded Dragon named Sunny that he loves. He also loves wild lizards. He spends his time catching lizards and making habitats for them before releasing back into the wild.
Waylon loves the outdoors because of the animals. You can always find him at the local creek catching crawdads and frogs and teaching the youngsters all about them. He also loves to catch lizards and snakes. Waylon enjoys camping and hiking all over California and seeing how the native animal populations change depending on where we go.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
