What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreHe has the most curious and eager mind when it comes to learning about different animals, how they live, what they eat, their habitats, etc. He is not afraid of any type of insect, reptile or animal. He loves to be outside exploring and getting a closer look into an animals natural habitat. Anytime we are out and see trash, the first thing he does it to go pick it up. He has a natural love for the planet and helping any creature big or small.
He has several favorite animals, but I would say he loves mantises, millipedes, spiders, any type of insect or bug! He has always had a passion for insects and bugs since he was a toddler. He is fearless when it comes to handling them! He may be biased, but we have a jumping spider as a pet and her name is Emerald. He came up with that name because her fangs are blue/green!
He loves to explore, we live in the PNW and go on hikes, play in the snow, go to the river, we are lucky enough to have nature at our doorstep, but I'd say his absolute favorite past times are either searching for Big Foot or finding insects and bugs!
