Learn moreBeing outside and seeing the plants emerge and grow. Walking through the woods and looking for the animals. Stopping to listen to the leaves moving or twigs snapping from squirrels or deer. The fact that she's outside is what makes our day.
Deer because they are beautiful and we have them roaming our neighbor. We often find scat and foot prints in our yard. They are friendly scavengers of our neighbor they eat our young growth in the gardens. In the fall they enjoy our pears so we can watch them on our home surveillance and see how they act.
Going for a walk in the woods exploring under rocks and logs. Checking creeks for minnows, crayfish and looking for interesting rocks. Seeing fiddle heads and trilliums poking through the forest floor in spring. Wandering in the summer foliage hoping to catch a glimpse of the birds. And finding colorful leaves in the fall. Snowshoeing in the winter and finding animal tracks.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
