Val enjoys being outside & experiencing the essence of nature through his five senses. His partner in crime on these adventures is his little sister. He is always happy observing the smallest creatures under a rock; to holding a worm, snake, lizard, fish, turtle-the list could go on; to listening to the music of birds singing. He constantly wants to learn more & finds gratification in sharing what he knows with others. His compassion to helping injured animals shows how big his heart is.
Val & his sister have had the opportunity to love & care for several pets-birds, rabbit, hamster, chicks, turtles, fish, lizards, & dogs. All make the Christmas card each year. He relates to all animals, but chose dogs (loyal & show unconditional love) and alligators (represents FL wildlife). The kids experienced harsh reality when 1 of our dogs (family mem) was stolen. The kids along with mom started a page to help families with lost, found, & rehoming of pets along with rescue assistance.
Val is in his element from backyard exploring to hiking in the mountains to fishing-he’s a hands on learner & admirer of the world around him. He finds beauty in the tiniest lady bug landing on his sister’s hair to growing his first tomato in their garden. He respects nature and is thankful for the beautiful role it plays in his life. His dream is to own a big piece of land to rescue animals & have his own farm. He plans his sister being his business partner in these future ventures.
