Axolotl! They are critically endangered and he wants everyone to know about it so we don't lose them. He things that them being cute (but also carnivorous) is cool as well as the fact that they show all kinds of cool behaviors.
Looking for bugs! He is currently studying yard ants and their habits as well as eating as many bugs as he can find. He thinks people should eat bugs more as they are good for protein and could help solve hunger issues globally! His mom is pretty grossed out about it!
