Receive Text UpdatesI love most how nature is full of amazing things to discover and learn about. Every time I go outside, I find something new and interesting! I especially love how all the plants and animals work together like a team. My favorite part is seeing how beautiful everything is - like waterfalls, beaches, and caves - and knowing that we can help protect these special places.
My favorite animals are sea creatures, especially axolotls! I love axolotls because they look like they're always smiling and they can regrow their body parts, which is like a superpower! I learned in a school library book that they are called water monsters, but I don't think they are monsters at all. I care about helping sea animals because they need clean oceans to live in, and that's why I do beach cleanups. When I go to aquariums, I also love to visit the moon jellies.
My favorite outdoor activity is hiking to waterfalls! I love following trails and climbing on rocks. My most exciting adventure was hiking at Silver Falls when the trail was covered in ice! Even though it was slippery, I went behind a waterfall for the very first time, and I loved to see the water from the other side. I also loved exploring Hug Point at low tide, when a special trail appears that's normally underwater. I got to touch real sea anemones with my finger and see a baby crab up close.
