From beetles, to birds, to bellowing gators, Sydney loves them all! A true wild Florida kid; she loves everything nature!
Thank you for generously supporting Sydney in this year’s competition. Your participation helps empower the National Wildlife Federation in their mission to protect wildlife, restore habitats, and inspire the next generation of conservationists.
First and foremost, she loves the animals that are in it. She also loves the peace it brings her. She takes a nice deep breath anytime we get outside, and loves hearing only the bugs and birds. Add in a nice breeze, and she is in pure heaven!
Sydney's favorite animal is the dolphin. She loves how intelligent they are, and how they take care of their pods. She is also very interested in how they use echolocation. She has great plans of growing up, moving to Hawaii, and having a career in marine conservation so she can be around them all the time!
She loves hiking, mountain biking, and looking for different animals! We live close to the Everglades and she loves looking for different types of snakes, fish, lizards, and birds and being able to identify them. She also loves a good scavenger hunt! Our family owns a plumeria nursery and she has a great time helping her dad grow trees and getting her hands dirty!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
