Sullivan can often be found climbing trees, searching for new bugs to learn about, or in the garden planting new flowers for our bees!
Thank you for generously supporting Sullivan in this year’s competition. Your participation helps empower the National Wildlife Federation in their mission to protect wildlife, restore habitats, and inspire the next generation of conservationists.
Sullivan is naturally curious and drawn to the vivid colors, textures, sounds, and movements found in the natural world. Nature is full of surprises—bugs under rocks, birds in trees, flowers blooming! He love to explore and learn through direct experience. Sullivan is also a huge sensory child- the smell of flowers, the sound of birds or water, the feeling of grass or dirt, and the sight of animals. He loves it all.
Sullivans favorite animal is a penguin! They are the perfect mix of cute, funny, and fascinating! His favorite movie is Penguins of Madagascar & he has about 10 different penguin stuffed animals!
His favorite outdoor activity is camping! Getting away for a weekend or week to explore new places while enjoying the simple things like roasting marshmallows, telling stories by the fire, or snuggling in a sleeping bag have become magical memories. Camping gives him a sense of independence and confidence! Whether he is helping build a fire, hiking or biking a new trail or finding bugs by the campsite. He's always down for a new adventure!
