Stone loves observing and caring for animals of all kinds. From his terrarium at home, with a rough green snake, two green tree frogs, an anole and two scarab beetles, to interacting with fish, mammals, reptiles, birds and insects in their natural habitat, his favorite place to be is always amongst his animal friends. Stone started his own business, complete with business cards, to help friends and neighbors identify and manage animals that they encounter in their yard, or in the wild.
Stones favorite animal is the Mantis Shrimp. They are built like a tank, are an ambush predator, move at lightning speed, are able to crack open some of the toughest protections, and look really cool - like a Junior Superman. Stone has never seen a mantis shrimp outside of TV or social media, so seeing one live is a major goal for him.
Stones favorite outdoor activity is camping here in Arizona. While living in the outdoors, Stone can do so many of his favorite things - in the AZ mountains, he can interact with crayfish and water snakes in the creeks, fish in the rivers and lakes, and explore forests full of birds, insects and mammals. In the Sonoran desert, he loves to track local wildlife such as scorpions, snakes, lizards, owls, javelina, cactus wrens and kangaroo mice.
