Nature has something for all of my senses. Sounds- like trees rustling in the breeze, waves crashing, song birds. Sights- like a fish jumping, squirrels having a wild chase and every color of the rainbow! Nature feels good too- warm sand, soft flowers, smooth rocks. I especially love jumping into a pool of cool water!
My favorite wild animal is a hammerhead shark. Hammerheads are very unique because of their head shape. They can see all the way around except for directly in front of them! I also love manatees and green sea turtles because they live in the water here in Florida with me! I see them all the time and I like to keep a journal with the time, place and a description of them when I spot them in the water.
My favorite outdoor activity is walking and hiking in the woods and marsh areas near my grandparents house in Hobe Sound. I love looking for different reptile and bird species. Especially Ospreys! Sometimes I see fish, turtles, manatees and otters. I’m hoping to see a shark soon!
