What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreEverything about the animal kingdom: mammals, birds, fish, bugs, she doesn’t discriminate! She loves learning about how their bodies work, their homes, and how they live. She likes those big animal encyclopedias that show the bones, muscles, and organs. She wants to know how their work and why. Then she wants to share what she has learned with everyone, often starting conversations with something like “Did you know giraffes have purple tongues and can lick their ears?”
The snow leopard. She loves predators of all kinds, especially big cats. The snow leopard currently holds the top spot because of its ability to camouflage in snowy environments, because they are strong and sneaky, and because they can jump six times their body length! Also because they are adorable. She has a stuffed snow leopard she loves named Spotty, and a book called “Saving the Ghost of the Mountain” that she loves to look at because of the amazing snow leopard pictures.
She loves to explore new places and discover new things. If there is a fox den in the woods, she’s ready to find it. New plants in the garden? She’s there. A bird’s nest in a tree? She’s already got her boots on. She’s super curious and loves taking pictures of everything she sees so she won’t forget it. Every outdoor exploration is exciting to her!
