Sofia is passionate about prehistoric animals and extant animals. She loves exploring the Colorado plateau where we live.

What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreSofia loves how to explore and observe the little things. She enjoys checking out anything that captures her eyes whether it's a lizard scurring by or a rock. She enjoys examining things close in her hand and try and figure out what it is.
Sofia's favorite animal is the Mexican spotted owl. Sofia and her dad enjoy camping together in the Gila National Forest and listen for them at night. Sofia has heard them and loves their calls. She has not seen one yet but hopes to observe one soon.
Sofia loves hiking outdoors. She's especially excited now that she's older to start herping (looking for amphibians and reptiles) with her dad and see the different herp in the southwest.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
