Skylar's favorite days are spent outside ... playing and exploring at a local park, fishing, swimming, caving, or hiking at a State Park.

What Skylar loves most about nature is animals. He enjoys learning about them, observing them, and interacting with them. His favorite books to check out at the library are always about animals. He enjoys trips to the zoo and observing them in nature. He also sees them as a source of comfort. A stuffed animal helps him sleep at night. And, he offers a stuffed animal to others when they are hurting.
Skylar's favorite animals are dolphins and sharks. He is fascinated with their size, how much they eat, and how they move through the ocean. One of his favorite movies is "Dolphin Tale". He is full of compassion when he sees how the dolphin in the movie is hurt and struggles. But, he also laughs at the dolphin's playfulness. He loves that sharks are big and strong and take charge in the ocean.
It's hard for Skylar to choose a favorite outdoor activity! But, if he really has to, it would be exploring a place he hasn't seen yet. He always looks forward to the next adventure in a new environment. He loves hiking and exploring at a Nature Center or State Park. Nature is always changing. There is a surprise at every twist and turn. He loves the anticipation of what's next! A chipmunk? A flower? A spider? You won't know until you get there!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
