Start Their AdventureExploring, seeing and learning everything from cactus flowers to tropical flowers. She loves learning about new plants, especially those who our ancestors (native Americans) used for medicine or food. She enjoys the hiking new territories. We loved star gazing at Big Bend NP, hiking through the vibrant forest in Hawaii, hiking AND eating near an active volcano in Hawaii. Recently, she sled down the beautiful White Sands NP, and then explored Carlsbad Caverns and ate lunch IN a cave!
Currently, her favorite animals are rabbits. She loves how calm and curious they are, which completely reflects her. We have 4 domestic Lion hair rabbits. She also has 4 leopard geckos, an axolotl, and 2 turtles. Her 6 yr old brother has an Empire scorpion and a vampire crab. She has such a big heart for animals, she was 6 when she caught a pigeon in our backyard. It flew away, but came back to her everyday, so we allowed it to stay with our chickens. Animals are just drawn to her naturally.
She loves hiking with her camel backpack. We take lots of snack and water breaks. She also likes riding her bike and skating! She rides her skates in the house almost everyday, she actually does her chores way faster like this. Nature scavenger hunts are fun. We do one at every NP we go to, and she loves getting Junior Ranger badges. She likes to use her binoculars to see birds in the distance. But her favorite is when she gets to the top of the hill and just sits and takes it in.
