What does Scotty love most about nature?

Being in nature let's him be a boy without boundaries. Able to explore the real world with no walls and limitations. Get dirty and run free while searching for new animals/reptiles, new sticks and different shaped rocks. His favorite game is to play Mother Nature where he tries to make it through all of Mother Natures obstacles she puts out there: from the quick sand river beds, to the poisonous berry bombs from the manzanita tree forest. There's a different obstacle around every turn!

What is Scotty's favorite animal—and why?

The African Wild Dog. Who doesn't love the African Wild Dog with their big ears and cute face. Each dog has it's different patterns which makes each one unique in their own way. Scotty did his 2nd grade project on African Wild Dogs, where he was able to visit them at the Living Desert zoo and learn all about them. Did you know that the African Wild Dogs are the most successful hunters in the world?

What is Scotty's favorite outdoor activity?

Fishing, hiking, biking, swimming, you name it, he loves everything outdoors. Living in the country and against a national forest, he's always outdoors playing. If he had to choose one, he would choose fishing for his personal record largemouth bass. Being by lakes/water in nature is always an adventure, not knowing what kind of fish or how big of a fish is out there.
