What Scarlett loves most about nature is nature itself. She loves feeling her toes dig into the grass and twirl under the rain. The sounds of the birds singing at sunrise and looking up into the night sky to see bats flying around.
Her favorite animal is chickens. She loves to care for them as baby chicks by feeding and giving them love (big hugs). Also, trains them to follow her around the yard and she digs into the ground to find them worms to eat. Chickens are her family, she wakes up in the morning to feed them and let them out. She gets scraps feed them as treats and spends time with them until is time for school. When back she runs to give them love and she gets love in return.
Scarlett’s favorite outdoor activity is to dip in the fresh water stream that runs through our yard to look for fish, black clams, and dip the chicks feet in on hot days. She loves to look at all different color dragonflies, damselflies, and butterflies.
